US.- The Florida Gaming Control Commission (FGCC) has announced it will host a series of information gathering sessions to discuss rule updates for cardroom operations. The first meeting is scheduled for March 24 at the Betty Easley Conference Centre in Tallahassee.
Licensed cardroom operators are invited to attend the meetings to share their perspective on potential updates thes Florida Administrative Code.
The regulator stated: “These ‘All In’ Information Gathering Sessions are part of FGCC’s commitment to fair regulation and the integrity of gaming activities. Input from cardroom operators and key stakeholders is a valuable part of this mission.”
Subsequent sessions will be held at the Hurston Building in Orlando on April 2 and at the Marriott Fort Lauderdale Airport Marina Room on May7.
The Florida Senate has confirmed the appointments and reappointments of the five members of the FGCC, completing the full composition of the governing body. In January, Governor Ron DeSantis appointed Julie Brown to serve as chair. Peter Cuderman and William Spicola were named new commissioners, and John Michael D’Aquila and Tina Repp were reappointed to their roles within the organisation.
